I had the best time celebrating Scrapbook Challenges Birthday! I just wanted to share some of my layouts that I completed from the fun DT's challenges.

This was a color challenge of orange, yellow and white.

This challenge was to get crazy with paint.

This challenge was to reach into my stash and pull out something to scrap. I pulled a red plastic fruit bag.

This challenge was to scrap a funny story. This is my silly son Ryan.

For this challenge, we needed to use playing cards on our layout.

This week at Paper Variety, the challenge is to scrap lift one of the DT's layouts. I decided to lift Shannon's. I just love her layout and it was a fun one to scrap.
This is what I can up with. My orange and blue card stock is SU and the fun paper and title is MME. I made the leaves from my Marvy punch.

Here's a few simple ways that we can help out the men and women of our armed forces. The video above is about a program started by two young kids called "Cell phones for soldiers". You can click on this link and learn more about it HERE. More or less donating your old cell phone will provide soldiers with free calling card minutes to call home and to speak to their friends and families. What a simple and kind thing to do. I know most of us have old cell phones lying around.

Another kind and easy thing to do today is to go and visit the USO support site and leave a message to our soldiers to thank them for their continued service and dedication. GO HERE

To help my friends while going through chemo, every week I send a little something to brighten their days. Starting last week, I decided to do a five day of fun. Here are a few of the gifts that I made.

The first day, I sent a lotto ticket holder...I hope that it had a winning ticket!

The second day, I sent a Post-it note holder.

The third day, I sent some fun Asian foods to try. I did not take a photo of that.
I am still working on my 4th and 5th day. I will post it when I'm done!

Wow, yesterday was a great day for scrapping, blog hops and sales. Here are some of the places where I spent most of my time.

First off, on Friday, I did the Scrapbook Challenges Blog Hop. I had so much fun and found a great sketch by Pamela.

Last weekend, Pages in Time had a super fun Love Crop. I wanted to share with you my completed challenges.

This one was to scraplift one of the DT pages. I picked one of Anns, she is one of my favorites.

This one was to do a layout of someone that we love. I just love this photo of my son with his Grandfather.

Holy Moly, I took me forever to complete the first challenge at Scraptacular Fall Fest Crop. The challenge is to add an unconventional item to your layout. My trash to treasure was found in my hubby's sanctuary (that would be his garage). It's a brass template.

Here is my layout that I did for the Scrap and Stamp Halloween Challenge.

The stamped pumpkin is from an old SU set called Spooks Galore. The name of the cool designer paper is Cast-a-Spell. You can find it in the current SU catalog on page 161.

SP Color Challenge

I just came across this great color challenge blog called Scrapmaster's Paradise and decided to give it a go.
At first, I was going to make a card but then decided that it would be fun to scrap this layout using Liz's sketch 36.

I just love her sketches. The retired designer paper that I used is called Parisian Summer. I plan to play next week and hopefully you will too!

Halloween Time!

Here are two cards that I made for a friends Halloween party! The first one was stamped with a new set called From the Crypt. It is such a cool looking set. I also used the Medallion stamp as the spiders web.

This card has 11 hand cut flowers and I even cut out the little bird that I attached to the top of the sign. I'm loving the new Petals -A- Plenty Textured Die that can be found in the Holiday Mini. It creates such a beautiful impression!

I'm in a Xmas card swap and this is one of the cards that made. This is the front of the card....

and this is what the inside looks like!

The large stamp that I used is SU Medallion (115223) that was then stamped with Old Olive Ink (102277) on Whisper White (100730) card stock. The inner circle was hand cut. For the inside of the card, I stamped the Medallion stamp again and than hand cut the top border. I colored in the Hostess Level 1 set called Holiday Best (115364) with my Stampin' Write Markers, Old Olive (100079) and Real Red (100052) and then punched my ornament with the new Ornament punch (116794) that can be found in the new Holiday Mini. I finished it off by adding some 1/4" Real Red Ribbon (109034).

I was having computer issues but thanks to my sweet hubby it is now all up and running. Here is a card that I designed for a stamping get together with my friends.

This is su Madellion Stamp (115223). It was stamped with More Mustarded ink (103162) on More Mustard Cardstock (100946) and tied with 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon Chocolate Chip Ribbon (111367).

LNS #33 Challenge

LNS #33 Challenge
This week the LNS Challenge was to make a fall scrapbook page. Since we can only use current products from the SU catalog, I decided to make my own version of a beautiful background paper that SU had out last fall from the Designer Paper pack called Autumn Vine.

I first had colored and stamped my image on whisper white. The leaf stamp that I use was from the Season of Friendship set. My marker colors were Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Sage Shadow and More Mustard.
I then doodled my stem and dots. It was an super easy background to recreate.

Midnight Madness sketch #15

Here is my take on the Midnight Madness sketch #15. I did a fall card with lots of layers. This card is so different from the others that I created that I still don't feel like it's a winner.

A Whimsical Challenge!

The theme for this weeks Scrap and Stamp challenge is a whimsical one. I thought that the look of leaves flying brought a bit of whimsy to my layout. The stamp set that I used is SU called Baroque Motifs. My card stock is a pretty soft yellow that a friend had given me. This week for the MMSC, I decided to create a card using one of my favorite color combos. I really liked to look of this card, except next time I will emboss the happy birthday with a white embossing powder to give it a little pop. I embossed my back layers with the Backgrounds 1 textuz plates and the flowers where punches from the Trio Flower Punch.

At Christmas time, I always create a gifting tree. It is such a joy to watch a child's face light up when allowed to pick a gift from my tree. This cute ornament is perfect for my tree filled with candy, a gift card, a small stamps or even some flowers for the bigger kids!
I used a 5x5 Bashful Blue card stock, stamped it with VersaMark and embossed it with Iridescent Ice. The snowflake stamp is from the hostess level 2 called Christmas Punch. I used the Eyelet Border punch to created my handle and the lace along the flap. The snowflake is part of the Sizzlits 4 pack dies called Snowflakes Set #2 and attached with a beautiful light blue Rhinestone Brad.

The challenge this week is a Big Shot challenge. The Big Shot die that I used for my card is called Birds and Branches. My Shutter Card is cut from Elegant Eggplant card stock and and layered with a Designer Series Paper called Razzleberry Lemonade. The Wishing you a quick and complete recovery stamp was from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set. I inked some Whisper White to my birds to give them dimension.To give the look that my bird is in flight, I cut a thin strip of acetate and attached one end to the back of my card stock and the other to the bird.

Tulip...A Pink and Black Challenge

I created this card for a pink and black challenge.

Here is my recipe.

1. What you need to make this card is Stampin' Up! Basic Black 5 1/2" x 81/2" folded in half, Whisper White 5 1/8" x 4 1/8" and Pink Passion 4 5/8 x 3 7/8 card stock, Basic Black and Whisper White inks, Sizzix Tulipe Die, Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1, 3/16 Corner Rounder, Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and pearls from the Pretties Kit.
First embossed the white and pink card stock with a Texturz Plate with the Big Shot and then take the Basic Black ink and rub on top of the Pink Passion to bring out the embossed image.
Now place the Sizzix Tulipe Die and run it through the Big Shot.
Round the corners of the embossed cardstocks.
Glue white card stock to black and than tack pink down with Stampin' Dimensionals.
On a separate cardstock stamp butterflies white on black and black on white, cut them out and add them to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Finish card with adding three pearls to the top from the Pretties Set.

This is a close up of my embossed paper and my butterfly. It gives you an idea on how I layered my butterflies. I also cut a 4 x 5 of Whisper White for the inside of my card and used some of the Tulips pieces to boarder the corners!

Weekend Crop!

Wow, what a great weekend I had. Friday night I went to a comedy club with my hubby and some friends. Saturday morning I cropped half of the day and then got dolled up and went to a very funny musical in the evening. Sunday I just hung around the house and finished up my scrap projects for the Pages in Time crop. I was one to the top 5 winners!!

For this challenge we had to complete a layout on a recipe that was given to us. I had to use primary colors, summer in the title, 3 photos, stars and vacation.

For this challenge we were to completed a layout with the given technique recipe. I had to use chipboard, die cuts, glitter, felt and epoxy.

Summer Sketch Challenge!

I am so excited about this new challenge site called Scrap and Stamp. The theme for the layout is summer. For the challenge you must you use the sketch provided and use two stamps somewhere on your layout! This is what I came up with. The Stamp set that I used is a brand new Stampin' Up! set called Circle Circus. My card stock (Pacific Blue, Bashful Blue and White Whisper) and designer paper (Good Morning Sunshine)is also made by Stampin' Up! My title is (Miss Elizabeth's stickers) Thanks for looking!

I did all this for the Pages in Time Mini Crop. Each month, one of out talented DT will be hosting a mini, so be sure to join us in July if you were not able to attend this past weekend. This Mini was host by Lesley!

Challenge 1 was to scraplift one of your own designs.

Challenge 2 was to scraplift one of the DT designs. I picked Ann, she is so amazing.

Challenge 3 was created from a sketch.

This is for the Theme of Lesley's Online Crop - Give me 5 for kids. Challenge 4 was to scrap a kids page.

Challenge 5 was to do a Black and White page and add another color.

Challenge 6 was to make a Gatefold Mini Album.

Boy, I'm tired between the two days of scrapping and attending two different family functions, I'm off to get some rest! I hope everyone will join us for next months Mini Crop because this one was such a blast!! A huge thank you goes out to our wonderful host Lesley! You so rock!!!

This weeks challenge at Scrap Whispers was to use this ad as our inspiration for a layout.

I used the bright colors of the ad as my inspiration for my page.

This 8o's challenge is inspired by the Rubrik's Cube. Nikki wanted us to create a layout using square photos and use at least three colors of the Rubik's Cube. My color are white, green and yellow.

and Jenny said that neon colors are a must

along with Ange's cool phrases like sweet!

but first Niki said that we need to put on our slouch socks

have Deb crimp our hair or heart's

so we can rock to the 80's with Charlotte in style.

Oh my, this week I have been very busy and not able to devote my time to scrapping and stamping. I did complete challenge 30- Pink and Orange by Scrap Whispers.
My paper is from my retired SU paper stash, it couldn't have been more perfect for this challenge. My cute Prima bird was from one of my winnings from Ann, hop on over to her blog and check out her cute sketch this month!

20 Wishes!

I decided to combine two challenges. This cute sketch was created by Liz and the 20 wishes is a challenge at Page in Time challenge.
Here are my wishes

Everyone would spend within their means so that our country would not be so messed up.
That everyone spoke the same language so that to communicate with others would not be a problem.
That child birth would be pain free
Everyday would be a great day.
80 degrees would be our everyday temperature.

That childproof containers would not be adult proof
That my fall/winter garden looked as good as my spring/summer.
That I had a money tree.
I had a Peanut M&M bush.
That Snickers ice cream bars lower cholesterol and firmed up jiggle thighs.

That there was no evil in this world, only love.
We would not have traffic jams.
That my hair would not gray and thin as I age.
That my house would clean and repair itself.
That it would only rain at night between 1am and 3am.

That I had a bug free garden.
That Steven and I could travel the world.
That everyone had great health.
That one day I will be a Grandma.
That my water turtles had a self cleaning pond.

Julie's EFL Challenge!

This page I created for a challenge at Page In Time hosted by Julie (you need to check out her fun blog, she makes me laugh . What I needed to do is scrap a layout using a scrap product or technique starting with each letter E, L and F. For the letter E, I embossed a flower at the bottom of my page, the F and L are all the flowers and lace. The twisted was to use 3 or more photos. Have a nice Memorial Day!

The first challenge I did was to complete this great sketch that was created by Liz. You need to check out her blog The Scrappiest. She has such an amazing DT and I know you will enjoy looking at all the eye candy.

The 2nd challenge that I combine into the sketch was hosted by Barbara at Page in Time. The challenge was to create a layout using a song title as the title. My title kind of fits with my photo except the boys are standing instead of sitting. Oh well, life can't always be perfect.

Scrapbook Challenges is having their first ever Design Team Blog Hop this weekend! You need to start the hop from Pamela's blog for a chance to win some really fabulous prizes . Sunday at midnight (MT) is the deadline for qualifying for prizes so hurry and get to hopping!

For this challenge, I scrapped my best friend Cyn and her son Glenn. We have been friends since the first grade. Wow, times flies!! The vine paper is Provo Craft and the card stock is Stampin' Up!. The boarder around the edge of the page and layers are doodled with water color pencils. The sweet bird stamp is from a Stampin' Up! set called Touch of Nature. Thanks for looking!
