From Trash to Treasures

Holy Moly, I took me forever to complete the first challenge at Scraptacular Fall Fest Crop. The challenge is to add an unconventional item to your layout. My trash to treasure was found in my hubby's sanctuary (that would be his garage). It's a brass template.
The horse stamp set is called Wanted and the pretty flower paper is called Good Morning Sunshine.

Scrap and Stamp Halloween Challenge

Here is my layout that I did for the Scrap and Stamp Halloween Challenge.

The stamped pumpkin is from an old SU set called Spooks Galore. The name of the cool designer paper is Cast-a-Spell. You can find it in the current SU catalog on page 161.

Guess who made Top 5 for one of her layouts??? That would be little old me! Thank you Samantha for picking me as one of your top 5...I'm so excited! You can see my layout here.

SP Color Challenge

I just came across this great color challenge blog called Scrapmaster's Paradise and decided to give it a go.
At first, I was going to make a card but then decided that it would be fun to scrap this layout using Liz's sketch 36.


I just love her sketches. The retired designer paper that I used is called Parisian Summer. I plan to play next week and hopefully you will too!

Halloween Time!

Here are two cards that I made for a friends Halloween party! The first one was stamped with a new set called From the Crypt. It is such a cool looking set. I also used the Medallion stamp as the spiders web.


The next card was created from one of my all time favorites called Halloween Hedgehogs. It is a retired set but the stamps are the cutest!!

3rd Card

This card has 11 hand cut flowers and I even cut out the little bird that I attached to the top of the sign. I'm loving the new Petals -A- Plenty Textured Die that can be found in the Holiday Mini. It creates such a beautiful impression!

Snowman Rule!

I love winter time and I get to unpack all of my snowman. They bring such a smile to my face. This adorable new stamp is called Simple Seasonal Thanks. It can be found in the Winter Mini. This is my last card that I creatived for the swap.

I'm in a Xmas card swap and this is one of the cards that made. This is the front of the card....

and this is what the inside looks like!
The large stamp that I used is SU Medallion (115223) that was then stamped with Old Olive Ink (102277) on Whisper White (100730) card stock. The inner circle was hand cut. For the inside of the card, I stamped the Medallion stamp again and than hand cut the top border. I colored in the Hostess Level 1 set called Holiday Best (115364) with my Stampin' Write Markers, Old Olive (100079) and Real Red (100052) and then punched my ornament with the new Ornament punch (116794) that can be found in the new Holiday Mini. I finished it off by adding some 1/4" Real Red Ribbon (109034).

I'm back!

I was having computer issues but thanks to my sweet hubby it is now all up and running. Here is a card that I designed for a stamping get together with my friends.

This is su Madellion Stamp (115223). It was stamped with More Mustarded ink (103162) on More Mustard Cardstock (100946) and tied with 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon Chocolate Chip Ribbon (111367).

National Holidays Mini-Crop

Nikki is hosting a National Holidays Mini-Crop at Pages In Time and I would love for you to come join in on the fun. It starts at 9am Friday, September 11th and last until Sunday 9pm, September 13th. There will be lots of challenges and some fun games.

Here are some of the pages that I created so far.

This was challenge #1, we needed to make a layout in the colors of red, white and blue.

This is challenge #3 is to create a layout that contains a picture of a bed or someone in a bed. This is a photo of my sleepy little Ninja Turtle.

Create 4 Fun Challenge

The challenge this week on Create4fun was to make a milk carton. I dressed up my little carton for a friend's Halloween party. I used SU Old Olive card stock and the Cast a Spell Designer Series paper. I punched with the Curly Label and 1" Circle punch. My Happy Halloween stamp is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes.

LNS #33 Challenge

LNS #33 Challenge
This week the LNS Challenge was to make a fall scrapbook page. Since we can only use current products from the SU catalog, I decided to make my own version of a beautiful background paper that SU had out last fall from the Designer Paper pack called Autumn Vine.

I first had colored and stamped my image on whisper white. The leaf stamp that I use was from the Season of Friendship set. My marker colors were Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Sage Shadow and More Mustard.
I then doodled my stem and dots. It was an super easy background to recreate.

MMSC15 Sketch

Midnight Madness sketch #15


Here is my take on the Midnight Madness sketch #15. I did a fall card with lots of layers. This card is so different from the others that I created that I still don't feel like it's a winner.

With the same sketch, I also created a layout minus the ribbon for a challenge that Ann hosted at Pages in Time. The challenge was to scrap a 5 x 7 photo and I was the lucky winner...Yippy for me, Thanks Ann!! Next weekend be sure to stop in for this month's crop at Pages in Time. The theme is going to be Wet and Wild. It will take place on the Aug. 29.
