Cards for Kids!

Pat at Cards 4 Kids is in need of 1000 Valentine's Day cards for the children at Children's Hospital of Michigan.

She needs unsigned cards with envelopes or just a post card style card with envelopes for the kids and staff to use. Please again, do not sign the cards, as the kids and staff will be using them for their own Valentine's. She will be offering up some blog candy. Please send her your intent to help at mrsmiley6@aol.com and she will send you her address.

When some of the gals heard about her challenge, they decided to offer up blog candy to sweeten the deal! Jennifer Buck will have some fun treats at her space as will Julie over at Out To Impress, Regina at Hand to Paper and Barbara at Explore. Dream. Discover, so check them out!

Thanks for helping!

Page Maps Card Contest!

This is my first time that I designed a card based on the PageMaps Blog sketch. I used an old Stampin' Up! butterfly stamp which I love...anything butterfly or dragonfly my heart has a soft spot for. I used my white uni-ball pen for the dots and I colored the inside of the wings with Pearl Ex color Duo Red-Blue and Stickled the lines with turquoise. The center blue blings are from The Dollar Store...Got to love The Dollar Store! The floral paper used was Gartner Studios stationary, I cut the border off, pieced it together, cut out some extras to add dimension and added some yellow Stickles for a little sparkle. My Butterfly also open so I could put a little photo and/or message inside.
Thanks for looking!

This is my take on this weeks 2 Sketches 4 You. I kept it going with the Hawaiian theme being that Kazan and her family celebrated Christmas on the Island. I thought Laura went too but she is at home in cold Colorado. I love this monkey set from Stampin' Up!, you can make such fun cards with it.

CBC46 Belli Challenge #46

This my card for the Belli Challenge. All I used was pretty wrapping paper and cool silver yarn. It was a very easy and fast card to make.

These are the rules for the Belli Challenge:

This weeks, Belli Challenge is to make a project using your wrapping paper. You can make anything you wish and combine challenges with your wrapping paper and it doesn't even have to be Christmas!

Here is what you need to do...
1. Anyone Can Play! Spread the Word! :)
2. Make a completed project with ANY WRAPPING PAPER. Share the link here in the comments linking to my Blog and CBC46. When you post to Splitcoaststampers or to your Blog, be sure and put CBC46 as the KEYWORD and mention of the challenge - with a link!
3. I will do a drawing and the person whose name I draw will get an assortment of Designer Papers! 4. You can have an extra opportunity to win from Lorie Ames if you link your creation here on my Blog AND on Lorie's Blog!
