Scrap It Forward Challenge #1

Scrap It Forward is a brand new blog site that I'm all excited about. Jenn, Christine and Illyse will host a card and scrap challenge for free goodies as well as a giving to others challenge. This is the card that I made for the card challenge. I used Stampin' Up!'s Raspberry Tart Designer Paper the Heart to Heart Punch and the Love you Much Stamp Set.

Stamps: Love You Much
Card Stock: Whisper White, Cameo Coral and Raspberry Tart Designer Paper
Inks: Basic Black, White Gel Pen
Other: Heart to Heart Punch, Rose Red Ribbon, Green Rhinestone Brad and Dazzling Diamond Glitter.

For the giving challenge I have a big box filled for the Goodwill. They will be selecting the winners on Feb. 14.

I've been tagged twice!

I can't believe that I've been tagged twice. The first one came from my UK Blog Friend Lorraine who is having a candy giveaway this week so check out her site. The second came from my scrapping friend Ivan at Memories Makers. Now for the task, all I have to do is to pick the 6th picture from the 6th folder in my pictures and post it. It sounds easy except I do not have any Pictures on this computer to share!

Courtney's Challenge #22

This is my first time trying Courtney's sketch, I had so much fun with it. I' m in love with this stamp set and paper, it's perfect for all Valentine projects. I stamped, cut and then water colored my birds, the one in the O has a paper pieced wing. My hearts are punched from the new Heart to Heart Stampin' Up! punch and around the little red hearts I added white dots too. You can't see the sparkle but I did add some Dazzling Diamond glitter to the inside of the love and a purple rhinestone brad to the center of the flower. I'm really happy with the way it turned out!
Thanks for looking!

Kazan's Sketch #18

Kazan from 2 Sketches 4 You created this fun sketch for all to try. One lucky winner will receive a Scor-it. For my card, I used Nana's Kids paper by DCWV. I love the colors and texture, it gives so much dimension to a simple card. The sweet stamp was from one of Stampin' UP!'s last years Celebration sets called So Many Scallops that I stamped on vellum and punched out with my large circle punch . I also circle punched some star and added some buttons with floss tied in the centers. I always have the best time creating with Kazan and Laura's sketches, make sure to go to their site to see what the other crafters have posted.

Stamp: SU So Many Scallops
Card Stock: Whisper White, Vellum and Nana's Kids paper by DCWV

For my Mojo Monday card, I made this cute baby card for baby Sophie. I thought that my stork was absolutely perfect for this layout. The embossed glitter paper is DCWV, the stork and the circles are both from retired Stampin' Up! sets. I punched holes around my Nestie scallop circle and then looped in some pretty pink ribbon.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone!
This is two of the cards that I made for the Cards 4 Kids, it's simple, but cute and sparkly. The glitter cards I bought from Ikea a few years ago. The Fish and the Kangaroo came from an old 2004 SU stamp set called Toucan of My Love. I water colored the fish and then added red and clear glitter glue and threw on some fancy eyes. The Kangaroo is chalked, heart is stickled and fancy eyes were added.
