Another Post!

Now, since I had so much fun completing Let's Get Sketchy, Team B's Aug 4 week sketch, I thought that I would continue on and play along with Team A Aug week 3. This sketch was created by Jenessa.

Here is the sketch:

and this is my Summer Days layout. My papers are EP Paradise Beach and my stickers are EP A Perfect Summer.

I can't wait for fall.

I love everything that this season has to offer, the cool weather and the beautiful colors of the leaves. When I came across these photos of my son and his Grandfather raking leaves, I thought that the Harvest Lanes from Simple Stories was the perfect collection to scrap with. Bev from Let's Get Sketchy created a wonderful sketch. If you would like to play along, this sketch is Team B August week 4.

Here is what I did with this challenge.

The Best of Buds

It's been awhile since I did a Boys Rule challenge. This sketch was created by Lynn and was a lot of fun to play with.

I decided to scrap my son, who is now in his twenties. Hip Hip! One down, two thousand photos to go.

I will admit that I am a paper hoarder and since I have so many old paper collections, I decided to break open a Teresa Collins collection called Memorabilia. I just love the color combo in this kit. It feels good to be able to enjoy the papers with the photos instead of sitting in a box in the closet just waiting and waiting and waiting to be used.

Die Cut Challenge

Hurry, there is still time to play along in the July 25 Die Cut Challenge Beverage and Food at StuckOnUsSketches.  Today is the last day.

Here is what I created for this challenge.

It's a cute slice of cake box created by Mary from SVG Cuts.
The die cut tag and stamped image is Stampin' Up! and my paper is out of my big bin of scraps. I am not certain who the manufacture is, but the papers did create a fun layered look.

Update: It pays to play because my slice of cake box made Top 3!

My patterned paper is Simple Stories "Take a Hike" 2012
The Die Cut Charms are made by Teresa Collins 2008
Sticker by Bella Blvd "Man of the House" 2010.
My banner punch is Stampin' Up!
My black ribbon is Spool O' Ribbon

How slow can I go?

OMG, I am just scrapping my son's baby album who is now 32. Holy Moly, do I have a lot of catching up to do. It has been a while since I did a Let's Capture Our Memories sketch and what a great one I found.

This sketch was a perfect one to share the memories of his birth.

My solid cardstock is a Stamin' up! product.
The printed 3x4 SN@P! cards are another wonderful product from Simple Stories
The cute sleeping bear and moon embellishments are my Dollar Store find by Miss Elizabeth's.

Here are some blogs to visit for a chance to win some cool stuff.
