A Fun Magnetic Box Tutorial

I don't know about you, but I just love decorating for the holidays and seasons. With that being said, I came up with creating a changeable magnetic box. The fact that I change the look completely by using different photos, papers and embellishment makes this project a winner in my book.

First, you need to measure your box and cut the steel to fit. You need to be careful with the steel because the edges can be sharp and you can cut yourself. I embossed the top just for fun just to see what my steel would look like.

The next step is to glue your steel into place. I used some hot glue and it worked just fine.

I then cut my cardstock to fit the box, made my embellishments and glued magnets to the back.

I also added some magnets to the sides of my box to hold some of my embellishments in place.

I can't wait for next month to show you what I have planned for my box.

I am entering my project in S.W.A.T. Drill #50 Love Mood Board. My inspiration was the color red,  the hearts and flowers.

Supply List:
Wooden Box
Steel and Magnets
Stampin' Up!: embossing folder and twine
MME: cardstock and homemade embellishments

Thanks for Looking!
