Here is a super fun and easy gift for the girls. It is such a busy time of year with so many festivities to attend....lots of dressing up and maybe some kissing going on under the mistletoe. Looking over my stash of dies and punches, I decided to create this fun lipstick or lip balm holder box and enter it in the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #21 Celebrate the Season.
I used my Stampin' up! die to cut out my party dress. I then punched two Petal Card Doubles which I made into a box. I folded down the top tabs to help support the lipstick case. I then, glued my dress shapes to the front and back of my box.
To add a little more support to the box, I wrapped a ribbon around the dress ending with a bow.
Don't you just love the end result? This box would also be a great party favors for a New Year's Eve party or even for a bride to give as a Thank you gift to her bridesmaids.
