12 Days of Christmas Day 9

When boys were younger, we did not have the Elf on a Shelf Tradition. I wish that we did, because I love the fun mischief that this elf creates. Now that I made one, I can't wait for my boys to see what plans I have for him this holiday season. I used Mary's SVG file to create my elf as well as the door hanger. I also made my elf magnetic so I would not be limited to what he could hold on to. I am entering him the Red Carpet Studio Challenge #84 Elf.

Here is a photo of my elf hang on the door.

Elf Product List:
Red Carpet Studio: Challenge Elf
SVGCuts: SVG Files
AC Cardstock: Plalin cardstock
Deja Views: Printed cardstock
Misc: Pom pom

Now on to my scrap project.
I have so many old Christmas photos to scrap, it's not funny. This is a photo of my son who is now 31. My goal this month is to complete at least one challenge a day for the rest of this month. That should give me 19 layouts if I can stick to my goal. I found this great sketch at Let's Get Sketchy Team B December Week 2. They create so many cool sketches each month.

Here is what I did. For this layout, I challenged myself to create my titles and embellishments using only the images and words that were part of the paper design. It took a bit of thought but I am pleased with how it all came together and the best part is, I only used 4 different papers to scrap this entire layout with. I am also going to enter this page in the Paper Issues What the #@!$%& Challenge.

Layout Product List:
Paper Issues: What the #@$%&
Simple Stories: Cardstock

Thanks for looking!
